Description
A flying visit on the way to somewhere else. Pakefield – a sea storm was blowing in from the east, rolling landward from the sea as I arrived at Pakefield; the sun failing slowly – a tip of cloud reaching down, touching the most easterly point at Lowestoft in the distance near the turbine. The weather finally collapsed, a shelf cloud rolling in bringing darkness, a squall of showers, and winds that pulled up a chop on the sea. I grabbed a few shots of the beach, at this the southern sister to Happisburgh, where the Hominins also left their shadows in the soft orange cliffs 700,000 years ago.
