A curiosity - now confirmed to be one of four Chapel boundary markers, thanks to Stephen Jarvis.
Prior to this: Spotted this on Mousehold. It’s a piece of what looks to be limestone rather than concrete. I suspect it’s usually obscured by bracken, about 8 inches deep and wide. It’s positioned just outside the southeastern perimeter of the site of St William’s Chapel about halfway off towards the Great War light railway line.
