Käthe Kollwitz Sculpture at Vladslo, Deutscher Soldatenfriedhof Vladslo, Belgium.
One of the most moving memorials on the whole front. Vladslo is north of the Salient, lost in the woods towards Dixmuide. The statues are remarkable and should the stone mother or father raise their eyes they would look up, straight at the grave of Peter Kollwitz, the sculptors son.
