A surprising dent in the geology of the front, one of 19 mines blown here on the 1st of July 1916. The combined explosion was at the time the loudest man-made sound. The tunnels to plant the explosives were hand dug through flint laced chalk in near silence, while the Germans dug from their own lines in an almost soundless underground war.

Sent by registered post (UK only*), prints over 300 x 200mm are supplied in a rigid tube. Smaller prints are supplied flat, protected by boards in an envelope.
