BOUNDARY
Ovillers Cemetery, Ovillers-la-Boisselle, Somme, France.
Formed over 16 days from the first of July 1916, and expanded during the battlefield clearances. The cemetery sits on the downward slope of the rise to Ovillers. I first saw it from the top of a rise through some trees, white against the earth. It sits in the fields you laced with chalk staining from trenches dug here until the crops push through.

These prints are printed as black and white images and are chroma-sealed. Sizes are approximate.

Please note there will always be some variation between how an image appears on screen due to the difference between colour gamut and monitor gamma and colour settings on different devices which use 3 colour subtractive RGB colour and printers which use a multicolour variation of CMYK or a multi-tonal version of greyscale.
